Memphis has released its slate of games outside of the American Conference, according to the Memphis’ post on X. Like most expected, it is stacked with difficult games against quality teams. It is as follows:
Oct. 30 vs Auburn (exhibition in Atlanta)
Nov. 8 vs San Francisco
Nov. 11 @ Ole Miss
Nov.16 vs UNLV
Nov. 20 vs Purdue (Baha Mar Championship)
Nov. 21 vs Texas Tech/Wake Forest (Baha Mar Championship)
Nov. 26 vs Southern Illinois
Dec. 3 vs New Orleans
Dec. 6 vs Baylor
Dec. 13 @ Louisville
Dec. 17 vs Vanderbilt
Dec. 20 @ Mississippi State
Dec. 22 vs Alabama State
Feb. 14 @ Utah State
After a great exhibition opportunity against Auburn, the Tigers get tested very early in the regular season with a road game to Oxford, Mississippi, to take on the Rebels, which leads almost directly into the stacked Baha Mar Championship field. Even though there are plenty of home matchups, the bulk of the difficulty comes away from home, especially for the games against rivals Mississippi State and Louisville.
Memphis also gets a short reprieve from the American when it plays against a NCAA Tournament team from last year in Utah State, which could represent a last-ditch effort for the Tigers to improve their at-large resume if they find themselves on the bubble.
