St. Bonaventure will face off against Le Moyne at 4 p.m. ET Saturday at the Reilly Center. The Bonnies have started their season strong with three straight wins, while the newly Division I Dolphins are off to a 1-3 start.
Despite their rough record, Le Moyne showed promise with a narrow four-point loss to Syracuse. However, their momentum stalled as they suffered a lopsided 41-point defeat to the third-ranked UConn Huskies just days ago.
The Bonnies return to the Reilly Center for their first home game nearly two weeks after securing back-to-back road victories. The standout performer of their road trip was Chance Moore, who delivered a stellar 27-point performance in last Saturday’s nine-point win over Canisius and followed it up with 18 points in Wednesday’s victory at FGCU.
St. Bonaventure enters the game as heavy favorites, with ESPN giving them a 93.8% chance to win. However, while the Dolphins suffered a blowout loss to UConn, they proved their resilience by narrowly falling to Syracuse earlier in the season.
For the Bonnies to secure the win, they’ll need Moore to maintain his hot streak, LaJae Jones to find his rhythm and their defense to keep Le Moyne guard Will Amica in check. If they can execute on these fronts, the game should tilt in St. Bonaventure’s favor.
